Following an extensive process where we were supported by MarshBerry and Kennedys Law, we’re pleased to announce the Management team at Hood Group have completed the buy-out of the Group’s silent shareholders, with the support of Connection Capital, the private equity and alternative investment platform.
The existing management team of CEO Simon Hood, Bruce Reid Commercial Director, James Wallis Chief Operating Officer, Mark Izzard Travel Director and Andy Homer Non-Exec Chair, all remain with the business, for what will be an exciting new chapter for the Group, which was established in 1983.
Finance provided by the transaction includes significant capital to support investment in the Direct and Affinity insurance distribution business, investment to pursue new and existing verticals, and to bolster other functions and resource across the Group, as the company continues on its drive to enhance delivery of great customer experiences and outcomes, that benefit our brand and insurer partners, and all customers.
